For months now Miles has been telling anyone who will listen about the swimming pool birthday he was going to have. I have no idea what inspired this choice since it is the dead of winter and all thoughts of swimming disappeared months ago when summer came to an end, but Miles never had a moment's doubt that a swimming pool birthday was the only way he wanted to celebrate turning 3. So we decided to take all of our family and some friends to check out the newly redone Orem Rec Center pool and gave Miles the swimming pool birthday he's been dreaming of. Everything about the pool from its size and depth to its temperature and play things was absolutely perfect! Cousins and friends could be seen playing and laughing in every direction and Miles was grinning from ear to ear the entire time, so I would say it was a complete success. A huge thanks to my friend, Lissy, who made it all possible and to my Aunt Marilyn and her daughter-in-law Naomi for making Miles' cake which he loved.
